'She was always happy': Families grieve tornado victims
Tue May 21, 2013
In another article I read, I believe it said the school building was around 50-years-old. At the time it was constructed, there were most likely no requirements for tornado shelters and no building codes to withstand tornadoes.
School bus surveillance video appears to show driver booting autistic girl onto ground
Thu Mar 21, 2013
Um....hit or not hit, this bus driver had no right to kick the 8-year-old child back. Chances are this bus driver knew this child was autistic & if said bus driver would take a few minutes to educate herself, she would learn that many children with autism are capable of lashing out--it may be th …
'They really were one soul': Funeral held for crash couple whose unborn baby survived
Mon Mar 4, 2013
I thought I heard on CBS radio less than an hour ago that the child has died. They haven't updated their website about the story since last night. I hope I misheard the report. So, so sad...
12-year-old boy who was victim of bullying attack dies after weeks in hospital
Mon Mar 4, 2013
I don't think their is enough info yet to persecute the parents, as much as I would like to think they have a hand in this. Their children may have some kind of mental disorder, that they are fully aware of, but because federal law states "least restricted environment" for kids, they may not have a …

Crimson Wife, I agree with you & also need to say that ABA needs to be made more accessible, period. IMO, it should be offered as a therapy in the school system, just like speech, OT, & PT. I cannot find an ABA provider in my area.
Wounded vet dies saving wife on parade float in Texas train accident
Fri Nov 16, 2012
This is such a tragic incident. But what I am not seeing is anyone questioning why the parade organizer chose to have a parade route go through a railroad crossing! Was there another path to get to where they wanted to go? If not, then the parade needed to end before the tracks or the organizer shou …
'Loving' boy accused of slashing throats, setting fire to his home
Fri Jul 23, 2010
Is it possible the child suffered from bi-polar disorder? It might explain why he allegedly slit others' throats and not be freaked out. I agree with other posters that something doesn't add up, but I don't think we can rule out that the child had something going on. This, and the possibility of s …
